- The course is intended to highlight the most pressing social and political questions (with reference to the upcoming presidential and congressional election) in the U.S. today.
- Tantárgy tartalma
- Detailed discussions will be devoted to the issues in the presidential and congressional elections, including the ideological differences, the profile of the core voters in the two major parties, the economy, health care, race relations, etc. in the historical context if possible.

- Regular attendance; a written exam composed of ID questions and an essay question.
