- The main aim of the course is to introduce students to key issues and concepts of anthropology through examples from Africa.
- Course content
- The course prepares student to understand contemporary African issues and to deepen their knowledge of the meaning, use, and importance of anthropology.
- Assessment method
- Students will demonstrate the learning outcomes by an oral examination at the end of the semester and by submitting film reviews and reading assignments week to week. As the course is based on critical reading of the texts and open discussions, class participation and reading are mandatory.
