Oktatás célja
OKTATÁS CÉLJA The aim of the course is to provide participants with practical experience of the impact of segregation and discrimination on ethnic minorities in Hungary and the work of state and non-governmental organizations in helping marginalized and segregated ethnic minority groups. The aim of the practical experience and the discussion based on personal interactions is to provide students with new perspectives and insights on different forms of discrimination and segregation, opportunity-based social methodologies and good practices that can support them in finding their place in their professional life after University.
Tantárgy tartalma
Gaining personal experience of the work and functioning of social organizations in Hungary, working with marginalized, ethnic minority groups in segregated areas. Personal experience will be gained through visits to institutions and organizations in Budapest and in rural areas. During the field days, and in a final session, we will discuss experiences, lessons learned and reflections on discrimination and segregation.
