Oktatás célja
Students who complete the subject gain knowledge about the basics of pneumatic and hydraulic systems aimed to cope with fluid power applications. Students will be acquainted with physical laws of pneumatic and hydraulic to accomplish dealing with fluid power systems. As result, students may be able to describe fluid power systems, mainly those occurring in engineering practice, and to analyse and design those fluid power systems.

Számonkérés és értékelés
Requirements of the subject in the semester The conditions for obtaining a signature are: Absences no more than allowed, i.e.: - not more than one hour per week is unverified and - total absences of no more than four hours. Replacement of missed exercises (regardless of whether justified or unverified) by the deadline, in a timely manner, agreed with the teacher (no later than the last day of the semester period). Midterm rules and regulations: students are required to bring their own writing items and clean papers. No borrowing, lending or exchange of any materials is allowed during the tests. Absentees must produce original medical certificates from approved clinics or hospitals. No parents’ letter will be accepted. Students who are absent without valid reason will be given a zero score for that test. A student will be given zero score if he or she is caught cheating during the test. No mobile phones or electronic gadgets that can store, transmit, receive data or information are allowed. Students must not talk, whisper, do hand signals or any other form of verbal or non-verbal communication during the test. Such actions will be considered as having the intention to cheat. Students who are late will not be allowed to write the test or will not be given extra time. Only essential writing materials are allowed on the student’s desk. All bags, books and any unauthorised materials should be left at the front of the classroom. Failure to follow the oral or written instructions may lead to students being penalised. At the first warning, the instructor automatically evaluates the given work at 0%, at a second warning, the instructor refuses to give signature to complete that subject. In addition, the signature is subject to: for subjects (language subjects) ending only with a signature: The condition for signing is the language maturity test or intermediate language exam for the Language 1 subject and the intermediate language exam for the Language 2 subject. In the absence of this, and in the case of Language 3, writing and preparing the midterm test(s) and the practical task(s) at a minimum level of 50% calculated together. The midterm test written at the prescribed time and the practical task submitted by the deadline can be repeated once. A total performance below 30% at the end of the semester will result in a refusal to get signature. In the case of a total performance rated at 30-49% at the end of the semester, in order to obtain the signature, one more attempt may be made in the week after the semester, through the writing of a replacement test and/or the re-submission of the practical task. How to hold yourself accountable: - For attendance instruction: two middle terms exams and practices in classroom are set, feedback on weekly progress may be given by Professor, discussing adequate manner to achieve requirements by the subject during the semester. It may require attendance in-person or online. - For online education: two middle terms exams and practices online are set, feedback on weekly progress may be given by Professor, discussing adequate manner to achieve requirements by the subject during the semester. It must be online. - In the case of a change in the education method during the semester: the rules of the methods of accountability that have already taken place and those that are still to be done are published in Moodle. For subjects ending with an interim grade: Writing and preparing the midterm paper(s) and practical task at a minimum level of 30% calculated in together. The midterm thesis written at the prescribed time and the practical task submitted by the deadline can be repeated once. A total performance below 30% at the end of the semester will result in a refusal to sign. In the case of a total performance rated at 30-49% at the end of the semester, the mid-year grade is insufficient, which can be improved by one more attempt. If the practical task is below 50%, it can be re-administered by the end of the week after the semester. If the midterm test(s) are below 50%, one more attempt may be made to improve it in the first two weeks of the exam period. - In the case of attendance training: max. 30-30 points can be scored with the 2 midterm tests, max. 20-20 points can be scored with the 2 homework assignments. - In the case of online education: with the 2 Moodle papers you can earn max. 20-20 points, with the 2 homework tasks max. 30-30 points can be scored. - In the case of a change in the form of education during the semester: the rules of the methods of accountability that have already taken place and those that are still to be done are published in Moodle. If all the (non-repeated) midterm tests written at the prescribed time and the practical tasks submitted by the deadline are successful (i.e. their result is at least 50%), an additional point equal to 13% may be awarded. The subject teacher can add extra points if the task(s) are successfully completed. For the subjects ending with the exam: Writing and preparing the midterm paper(s) and practical task at a minimum 50% level calculated in summary. The midterm thesis written at the prescribed time and the practical task submitted by the deadline can be repeated once. On one further occasion – for the improvement of the midterm test(s) and practical task – the subject teacher may, with individual assessment, give special permission for replacement, no later than the end of the week after the semester. A total performance of less than 50% at the end of the week after the semester will result in a refusal to sign. - In the case of attendance education: max. 15-15 points can be scored with the 2 midterm tests, and max. 10-10 points can be scored with the 2 homework assignments. - In the case of online education: with the 2 Moodle papers you can get max. 10-10 points, with the 2 homework tasks max. 15-15 points can be scored. - In the case of a changing form of education during the semester: the rules of the methods of accountability that have already taken place and those that are still to be done are published in Moodle. If all the (non-repeated) midterm tests written at the prescribed time and the practical tasks submitted by the deadline are successful (i.e. their result is at least 50%), an additional point equal to 13% may be awarded. The subject teacher can add extra points if the task(s) are successfully completed. in the exam period In the exam period students need to pass the exam on one of the exam days scheduled in NEPTUN. A maximum of 50 points can be scored on the exam, and in case of a successful exam on the first try, an additional 13% of points can be awarded. Grading The course ends with a midterm grade, a grade can be given after obtaining the signature, the statement of which is: In the case of a total performance rated at 30-49% at the end of the semester, the midterm grade is insufficient, which can be improved by one more attempt. If the practical task is below 50%, it can be re-administered by the end of the week after the semester. If the midterm test(s) are below 50%, one more attempt may be made to improve it in the first two weeks of the exam period. These occasions shall be appointed on the basis of individual requests. In the case of dual students, these dates may only fall on exam days or outside the dual practice period (late afternoon, weekend). Based on the collected points in the semester the grades are determined with the following scale:            87 – 100 %                                            excellent (5)            75 – 86 %                                              good (4)            63 – 74 %                                              satisfactory (3)            50 – 62 %                                              pass (2)            0 – 49 %                                                 fail (1) The subject ends with an exam, the condition for admission to the exam is to obtain a signature. The exam grade is established by aggregating the practical work and the result obtained in the exam. The value of the exam grade depending on the overall performance:           0- 49% – fail (1);           50- 62% – pass (2);           63- 74% – satisfactory (3);           75- 86% – good (4);           87-100% – excellent (5). Corrections, late  Any unsuccessful or unwritten test can be corrected once. Office hours Based on prior personal or email discussion. Effort Attendance on lectures and practices and self-working: 6 hours / week. Technical requirements With accomplishment of the course, the students have skills to apply the basic concepts and methods of fluid power, have routine for analyzing fluid power systems, have knowledge of the fundamental concepts of fluid power. Quality assurance methods attendance on international, scientific conferences; investigation of the topic’s literature knowing of partner universities’ educational materials; student judgement. Curriculum development politic investigation of the topic’s literature, if it is needed improvement or expansion; relationship with professional organizations; in case of considerable change in the curriculum, supervision and acceptance of Faculty Council is needed.
