- Oktatás célja
- Oktatás célja: The aim of the course is to introduce students to the field of applied linguistics and present the variety of its topics, methods, along with the applicability of its results. The topics will be discussed based on the secondary literature and using a lot of tasks for practice. Tantárgy tartalma: The course presents the applications of research results in phonetics and psycholinguistics in teaching methodology, speech-language pathology, speech and language technology, translation, and in everyday life. It also deals with applied linguistic topics regarding proper names: legal regulation of their use, translation of proper names, stereotypes and prejudices based on names etc. No preliminary linguistic knowledge is needed.
