- Oktatás célja
- The subject contributes to the development of the following professional competences: Knowledge Students Know the core concepts of communication, organization, marketing, networking, building partnerships and alliances, planning, project management, quality management, human resource development in order to fulfil their duties related to information and knowledge organisation. Has thorough knowledge and adequate problem-solving techniques in library conflict management. Skills Students Capable of written and oral communication when cooperating with users, with partners (publishers, libraries, booksellers, database providers, IT developers, other public collections, cultural and educational institutions) and with governing bodies and able to develop these skills. Able to apply the problem solving techniques in an innovative manner when managing conflicts in the library and when communicating with users and other partners. Attitudes Accept quality management approach already widespread in libraries and the duties and the responsibilities it involves. Aware of what quality is, and also self-critical concerning their own work. Willing to participate in the quality chain that guarantees good quality library services.
