- Course content
- Module Subject The objective of this module is to put the students in a position to use, develop and evaluate systems and processes for collection and documents from a broad perspective so that they can also incorporate relevant knowledge from other subject areas to the best possible extent. Collections Management Software CONTENTdm Digital Collection Management Software by OCLC Collection Management Policy in the different types of libraries Collection management in the digital repositories Knowledge organization and collection management Case studies and best practices of libraries Introduction of DM in the concrete libraries Special services and the utilizing Quality Assessment Digital preservation Building and sharing library resources in a new technology era

- Essay - Min. 10 pages with 20 sources in printing and electronic form. Please cite the source according to the bibliographic standards (on the bottom of page). Presenting essay on the presentation day. Lecture should be about 20 minutes long.
