- The survey course offers an introduction to Canadian history, political system, society, immigration history and politics, society and social issues, education, the peculiar situation of Quebec, culture, multiculturalism and ethnic minorities.

- Weekly readings and home assignments, presentation on topics related to Canada; in-class tests: midterm and endterm test.
