Learning outcomes
This lecture course is surveying American literature from the colonial period to the late 19th century.
Course content
Topics include: Puritanism, the American Enlightenment, the American Renaissance, Transcendentalism, Postbellum Colonialism, Psychological Realism among others.
Assessment method
Written examination in the exam period.
