Oktatás célja
This is a lecture course surveying American literature from the late 20th century to the beginning of the new millennium.
Tantárgy tartalma
This lecture aims at surveying the most influential trends in modernist prose and poetry, the Harlem Renaissance and the development of African-American literature; 20th century women writers; Postmondernism in prose and poetry; popular culture and literature; 20th century American drama; ethnic identities in literature.
Számonkérés és értékelés
Evaluation will be based on a final test, which is designed to test students’ on relevant literary concepts and terms as well as on the list of readings that will have been covered by the end of the semester.
