- The Théâtre pédagogie et expérimentation course emphasizes the "oral" aspect of the French language, and I make sure that all participating students can express themselves as much as possible.
- Course content
- For Advanced 12 courses, the semester will be divided into two distinct parts. In the first half of the semester, all students will complete a weekly writing exercise. At each session, each student will share his or her text, with a reading aloud followed by a few minutes of discussion on the writing process and the linguistic quality of the texts. The texts are shared (so that even those who are absent can leave their work). I also propose a weekly correction of all the texts. Their final, more substantial production will mark their first assessment. The second part of the semester is devoted to general culture. With the help of documents taken from J.F Braunstein and B.Phan's "Manuel de Culture Générale", students will give an oral presentation on a theme of their choice. Each student will work on two specific themes. These presentations will form the second assessment. The final grade will reflect these two pieces of work.
