- Learning outcomes
- The lessons will include exercises at DALF C1 level, mainly aimed at improving speaking comprehension and fluency, but also oral summaries of written text. The aim of the lessons A) Knowledge - The lexical, idiomatic, comprehension and composition competences at level C1. - Acquires the grammatical objectives of a text in a thematic order - Has knowledge of basic text production procedures and a strategy for mediating between the target language and the mother tongue. - Use problem-solving methods in the field. B) Competences - Understands, interprets, organises and uses effectively and spontaneously, orally and in writing, the vocabulary, word structures and expressions acquired. - Ability to follow and understand a lesson in the target language, interpret and communicate literary texts, press articles and cultural practices. - Ability to express oneself orally and in writing in a clear and correct way in French and to participate in the interpretation and discussion of social and cultural phenomena - Ability to produce detailed, argumentative and summarising texts on a variety of subjects, particularly in the field of francophone culture, using correct French. C) Attitudes - Ability to speak and write with correct grammatical accuracy (using a variety of oral and written forms). - Constantly develops his/her lexical and idiomatic competence and general and specialised knowledge of the language, using the most up-to-date information and communication tools. - Takes a contrastive approach to language learning, aware of its role as a mediator. - Open to new linguistic and cultural phenomena. D) Autonomy and responsibility - Carries out his/her work autonomously. He/she works at home on the dates indicated in the semester timetable and brings the homework assignments to class ready for the class. - Participates actively in the course, asking the instructor questions that arise during the course of study, incorporating the answers into his/her knowledge, taking responsibility for interactions within the group. - Consciously represents French language and communication standards. - Effectively mediates within the Francophone cultural community at home and abroad

- Assessment method
- practical grade, five-level assessment Verification of knowledge : During the semester, students will give a presentation/lecture at the time scheduled in the first class, two listening comprehension or vocabulary tests and one written summary/essay on an agreed topic (related to a newspaper article) by the penultimate week of the academic year.
