Learning outcomes

The goal of the course is to improve Hungarian conversational skills. Great emphasis is placed on demonstrating authentic language, acquiring the phrases, expressions, and structures of the spoken language, as well as developing pragmatic competence. Students become familiar with linguistic behavioral patterns associated with various speech situations. They are also continuously facilitated to expand their vocabulary of the sequential topics. Course content

Level-adequate vocabulary and conversational skills development. 

Assessment method

Continuous evaluation of oral communication: classroom-work: 30%; homework during the semester: 30%; oral end-of-semester test and/or presentation: 40%. The use and application of AI is included in the learning and teaching process. The students’ awareness of the AI’s usage are also developed within the classroom, together with the necessary competencies. AI is present in both classroom and homework to support skill development. Its use is also recommended for language learning. The application of AI is also allowed in the previous work on the end-of-semester presentation.
