- Oktatás célja
- Knowledge: - The student conducting the seminar will be familiar with the known procedures and methods of linguistic and literary interpretation of Hungarian texts and cultural phenomena, as well as their professionally accepted contexts and evaluations. - By the end of the course the student will have an insight into the characteristic research questions of literary studies, he/she will become acquainted with the methods of analysis and interpretation of the specialty, as well as the basic technical terms of certain sub-fields. - The student should know the history and development of the degree program, and the structure of the university literary education. Skills: - Considering the possibility of a versatile methodological approach to problems in his/her field, the student selects and applies appropriate methods. - The student is able to use academic and specialised libraries, digital libraries and databases. - The student is able to find, read, and work with primary literary texts. - The student is able to understand and use specialized texts, secondary literature. - The student is able to do independent seminar work. - The student is able to achieve seminar tasks in the necessary format. Attitudes: - The student consciously represents the learned technical language and communication norms, and authentically conveys the mentality of his/her professional field. - The student strives for the resoned use of research methodology related to literary studies. Autonomy, responsibility: - The student develops a historically and globally coherent individual position that promotes self-awareness and the development of his/her environment. - The student is responsible for his/her written texts, and he/she is aware of the potential professional judgment and ethical implications of their linguistic and literary contents.
- Tantárgy tartalma
- The aim of the subject is to introduce to students the requirements of their university studies, the structure of the Hungarian BA programme and to prepare them for participation in lectures and seminars. The aim of the seminar is to introduce the methodologies of university studies to students and to make them able to do independent study and research with the aid of supervision. The seminar also incorporates the use of modern web-based devices and sources.

- Requirements to validate the course are attendance on classes, oral presentations during the semester, submission of written contents required by the teacher: essays, and writing tests with sufficient results.
