Tantárgy tartalma
The seminar, closely related in topic to the lectures, gives a more detailed picture of the characteristics of periods and motifs in world literature. The examples given during the seminars allow students to study multiple schools, genres and influential authors. Similarly to the lectures, the seminars approach world literature as dialogue of regions and national literatures, while also examining the relationship between literature and other forms of arts. The seminar calls attention to the difficulties a Hungarian scholar must face with when investigating international literary tendencies. During the seminar, the student is required to complete an independent research project relating to the topics discussed in the seminar.
Számonkérés és értékelés
The student is required to create an independent research project relating to one of the topics investigated in class.
