Learning outcomes
To develop students' competence in text comprehension and composition, with particular attention to the development of receptive skills at B2-C1 level.  Knowledge: The students know the rules of spoken and written German. They have knowledge about the varieties and registers of German. They know about the standard methods of the reception of German texts and the accepted contexts of their interpretation.  Knowledge: knows the rules of the written German language, the characteristics, stylistic features and formal framework of the different text types. Knowledge of the rules, features and characteristics of the German language, its idioms, its idioms, its idioms of style, its idioms of German and its idioms of the German language. Knowledge of German language, culture and public life.  Ability: to understand general and specific-functional, publicistic and fiction texts, both globally and in detail. Ability to recognise and distinguish between different types of texts. Ability to produce some simple publicistic and specific-functional types of texts (short newsletters, letters to the editor, CVs, job applications, official letters, minutes, etc.) required in the course of studies. Can choose a style of writing appropriate to the addressee(s). Ability to develop his/her skills independently, using individual and organisational resources in a conscious way.  Attitude: committed to developing written language communication skills, striving to use their knowledge creatively. He is aware that the best way to develop his language skills is through continuous work with texts. She shows an interest in written German communication and is ready to motivate her future students to do the same.  Autonomy and responsibility: the learner is aware that language is a window on the world, a window into other cultures, ways of life and ways of thinking. He/she understands that this opportunity is also a responsibility. It is ready to put its language skills and its written communication competences at the service of the constant development of its personality. She feels a responsibility towards her future students, to whom she will have to pass on this commitment. 
Course content
Practise written language comprehension using current print or online media texts, literary works and specialised functional texts. Review of the content, stylistic and formal characteristics of certain text types, structuring and practising the linguistic tools of expression associated with them, followed by the writing of simpler publicistic and specific-functional texts (short newsletters, letters to the editor, CVs, job applications, official letters, minutes, etc.) required for studies.
