- The aim of the course is to practice morphosyntactic analysis of the sentence, to improve students’ linguistic knowledge and to take consciousness about the differences between Spanish and Hungarian syntax. Students who complete the course successfully are well-informed and well-oriented in the field of the linguistic features of the studied phenomena, and will be able to analyse their rules. A) Knowledge Students are familiar with the basic research and interpretation methods of Spanish morphology and syntax, and are familiar with the technical terminology. know the morphological, syntactic, semantic, pragmatic and discourse characteristics of the synchronous language state and their connections know the sources of information that can be used in teaching and learning Spanish, opportunities for learning, textbooks, teaching aids, ways of organizing learning, key methods, teaching and learning strategies. B) Ability Students are able to distinguish between Hungarian and Spanish sentence structure; are able to speak Spanish fluently, correctly, confidently, in the current context to use; applying their knowledge to search for and give answers to language pedagogical questions. C) Attitude Students strive to improve their general and professional language skills, consciously representing the communication standards of the diverse Spanish-speaking area. aim for continuous self-education using available technologies, among other tools. understand and accept European and American cultural diversity and the fact that they are subject to change. D) Autonomy and responsibility Students are committed to intensive learning. perform learning-related tasks independently. take responsibility for their own work, development, achievements and failures.
- Course content
- Spanish and Hungarian grammatical terminology; basic concepts of morphology; classes of morphemes; word analysis methods and their theoretical background; flexion and morphology; word formation; parts of speech and their particularities; syntagmas and sentences; methods of analysing sentences; nominal syntagma; verbal sytagma; simple sentences; types of the predicate and its adjuncts; compound sentences; dependent and independent clauses.
- Assessment method
- Formative evaluation, continuous activity in class and class preparation, oral presentations, projects accomplished in groups, written essays and tests. Grading 1-5.
