- To learn about and understand historical, social, political and cultural phenomena in Spanish-speaking countries in the 20th and 21st centuries, through the study of essays, films and audio material.
- Course content
- The main historical events of the modern era in Spain and the Latin American continent. The antecedents, social and cultural aspects of the current political arrangements. Development of an independent research topic.
- Assessment method
- Independent project work, oral presentation, continuous class work, continuous preparation for classes, thorough knowledge of assigned works, analysis of works. Preparation of a final paper and/or seminar paper.
