- The study and understanding of the historical, social, political and cultural phenomena of the Spanish-American continent in the 20th and 21st centuries, through the study of essays, films and audio material.
- Course content
- The main historical events of the modern era on the Latin American continent. The antecedents, social and cultural aspects of the current political arrangements. Development of an independent research topic.
- Assessment method
- Independent project work, oral presentation, continuous class work, continuous preparation for classes, thorough knowledge of assigned works, analysis of works. Preparation of a final paper and/or seminar paper.
