- Knowledge: Students have knowledge of the diversity and location of Russian-speaking areas; have knowledge of the current processes of Russian society, public life, economy, culture; are familiar with certain scientific and public genres of Russian culture; know and understand the lexical and grammatical system of the Russian language. Skills: Students use the Russian language in oral and written communication at a native-speaker or C1 level; are able to participate in conversations on everyday topics without preparation, initiate conversation and interact with a native speaker; create coherent texts on a wide range of different topics, able to express their views on a current topic, able to detail the advantages and disadvantages of different options; understand more complex texts on specific or abstract topics, including professional conversations relevant to teir field of expertise. Keep track of information on radio and TV shows that are about current events and do not necessarily touch on topics related to theirinterests, work, or school. Attitudes: Students are open to new information; continuously improve their general and professional language skills, use the most up-to-date IT and communication tools for self-education. Autonomy and Responsibility: Students actively participate in the course, ask questions during their independent studies and incorporate the answers into their knowledge; take responsibility for completing the subject by mobilizing the best of their knowledge and skills; are responsible for their texts written in Russian and his mother tongue.
- Course content
- Topics covered in the course may be related to the following areas: the demographic problems of today's Hungary and today's Russia the family (the typical modern family; problems of families with many children, family problems and their reasons, violence in the family) the Russian and Hungarian health care systems the Russian and Hungarian education systems the problems of modern society migration science and morality problems of metropolitan life environmental issues globalization the crisis of culture modern communication tools spending free time transport, travel in the city and in the country.
- Assessment method
- The basis of the assessment is the active, well prepared participation in the classes, the completion of the tasks assigned during the semester prepared by the lecturer.
