Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is a brief overview of the Russian lexicological system.
Course content
Words with opposite meanings. Types of antonyms. The phenomenon of synonymy. Types of synonyms. Words with the same shape. Special cases of homonymy (grammatical, phonological and orthographic homonyms). The phenomenon of paronymy in the case of native and foreign vocabulary. Etymological grouping of the Russian vocabulary. Older and newer foreign words. A comparative study of Russian and Hungarian phraseology (sayings, similes, proverbs).
Assessment method
The practical grade is formed from the results of the three written examination during the semester, taking into account the students' work in class and the solution of homework.
