- Learning outcomes
- During the first half of the semester, all students will complete a weekly writing exercise. At each session, each student will share his or her text, with a reading aloud followed by a few minutes of discussion about the writing process and the linguistic quality of the texts. The texts are shared (so even those who are absent can leave their work). I also offer weekly correction of all the texts. The second part of the semester will be devoted to general knowledge. Students will give an oral presentation on a topic of their choice. Each student will work on two specific themes.

- Assessment method
- During the first half of the semester, all students will complete a weekly writing exercise. The final, more substantial piece will mark their first assessment. The second half of the semester will be devoted to general knowledge. Each student will work on two specific themes. These will form the second assessment. The final mark will reflect these two pieces of work.
