- Oktatás célja
- The meaning of the concept of family is, on the one hand, obvious to everyone and, on the other hand, there are serious differences in individual interpretations. The meaning of the word has changed over time and also varies across disciplines. Family heritage is not an elaborate discipline. The course aims to review and process the family perception and research possibilities of different disciplines (demography, ethnography, legal history, sociology, psychology, genealogy, microhistory, economic history), thus getting closer to the possible interpretation of family heritage. Due to the interdisciplinary approach of the course, it can provide theoretical, conceptual and practical knowledge at the same time and contribute to the interpretation of intergenerational knowledge areas and traditions within the family. All this helps the students to get acquainted with one of the most important social practices of the preservation and transmission of cultural heritage, the micro-community of the family.
