- The subject includes the following topics: a) the language of IT, b) the Polish technical language, c) the Polish medical language, d) the Polish economic and financial language, e) the Polish sports language, f) the Polish legal language. The status of professional languages and the stratification of the Polish language in the light of diachrony and synchrony. Hungarian aspects of the Polish vocabulary. Problems of adequate translation of Polish and Hungarian technical terms into Polish/Hungarian. The problem of German and English mirror words/borrowings in the individual professional languages.
- Course content
