- During the lectures, the students acquire adequate knowledge of 19th-century Polish literary periods, authors and works.
- Course content
- The students get a comprehensive picture of Polish literature, the individual periods of literary history, the authors who defined the periods and their works. The emphasis is on the XIX. and XX. century literary trends: a) romance - poetry of Adam Mickiewicz, Juliusz Słowacki, Zygmunt Krasiński, Cyprian Norwid; b) positivism – realistic prose, social novels, the question of women in literature;

- Five-level written or oral exam.
