The course is self-contained, it presupposes no knowledge of mathematics or physics but it requires hard work during the semester. Content of the course:  1. What is spacetime?  2. Principles of Special Relativity  3. Relativity of simulaneity  4. Adding velocities  5. Paradoxes  6. Aristotelian spacetime  7. Newtonian and Galilean spacetime  8. Non-Euclidean geometry  9. General Relavitity  10. Life near the black holes  11. Neo-Lorentzian approaches to space and time  12. Empirical Foundations of space and time Suggested reading:  • R.
