- Oktatás célja
- A kurzus során a diákok megismerkednek a közép-európai zsidóság történelmével és a téma historiográfiájával.
- Tantárgy tartalma
- Az olvasmányok és az órai beszélgetések rövid áttekintést nyújtanak az európai zsidók történetéről, amelynek során megpróbáljuk megérteni, hogy a zsidók hogyan szembesültek a körülöttük lévő világ állandó kihívásaival, és hogyan és milyen mértékben sikerült integrálódniuk a különböző európai országokba. Ezenkívül a szemináriumok és az olvasmányok kulturális, társadalmi és elméleti kérdésekre összpontosítanak, többek között a történelmi emlékezetre, a nacionalizmusra és a nemzeti szimbólumokra, a szóbeli történelemre, a modernizációra, a holokausztra és a reprezentációra. A szemeszter során beépítjük munkánkba a legújabb történetírói trendek eredményeit, és különböző történelmi forrásokat használunk. Tudományos esszék mellett elemzünk emlékiratokat, irodalmi szövegeket, mikrohistorikus tanulmányokat, vizuális képeket és dokumentumfilmeket. A kurzus ötvözi a nagy narratívákat, a makrohistorikus megközelítést mikroszkopikus témákkal, mint például a hírhedt és botrányos tiszaeszlári rituális gyilkosság.
- Számonkérés és értékelés
- A hallgatóknak be kell járniuk az órákra, olvasniuk kell a feladott szakirodalmat és aktívan részt kell venniük a szemináriumi vitákon. A szemináriumi jegyet az óriai aktivitás (50%) és az évvégi számonkérés (50%) alapján kapja a hallgató.
