- Oktatás célja
- The English-language course is intended to help students understand and address mis- and disinformation, and through hands-on, practical exercises, try themselves as fact-checkers. After an introduction into the theory and psychology behind mis-and disinformation, students will learn how to identify claims that can be fact-checked, apply the standard methodology of fact-checking, and they will get familiar with the most recent tools and techniques to debunk and verify claims.

Oct.17. Finding evidence: advanced internet research, databases, human sources. Oct. 31. (autumn break) – optional: visiting Lakmusz office + consultation. Nov. 14. Reliability of sources. Social media research, OSINT toolbox. Nov. 28. Project presentations. Dec. 12. How (not) to write a fact-checking article? Summary, evaluation.
