- The basic objective of the lecture series is to provide a comprehensive picture regarding the legal forms, functioning and structure of companies (production processes inside and outside the company using concrete examples; logistics, marketing; project management; sales; human resources; accounting and finance). Knowledge: Students understand and survey the research procedures of German linguistic, literary and cultural phenomena and the changing contexts of interpretation. They have a profound knowledge of at least one subject area in their chosen field (German linguistics, German-language literatures and cultural studies). Skills: They have the ability to present their knowledge in scientific forums, independently grasp and solve problems and develop original ideas in the process, and are able to plan and perform tasks at a high professional level and independently. They are capable of working in such intellectual positions where informedness, great creativity and profound knowledge of the German language and culture are expected. Attitudes: They strive to deepen and develop their professional and linguistic knowledge. They are open to approaching their chosen field in an interdisciplinary way. They stand for the Hungarian and European values, the importance of cultural, religious and social diversity with a conscious and critical attitude. Autonomy and responsibility: They strive to be always thoroughly informed and constantly keep their knowledge at a high level. In subject-specific questions they are characterized by critical awareness.
- Course content
- In the seminars, students are introduced to the business world with the help of practical case studies and exercises, guest lectures, simulation games, and collaborative editing of authentic texts. The course will focus on different content depending on the semester, such as: Corporate law-business law, the financial documentation of companies, cooperation between business departments, marketing, sales. Students participating in the course gain insight into the inner workings of companies and become acquainted with relevant literature.
