- Learning outcomes
- The aim of the course is to highlight outstanding points in Scandinavian literature and philosophical processes that have played a central role in the Scandinavian history of a particular age and are still of great importance for the common Scandinavian culture. The course discusses such processes in a comparative approach.
- Course content
- Topics: Reformation, Common Danish-Norwegian Cultural Development, Scandinavian Romance, The Intellectual History and Literature of Modern Breakthrough, Danish Symbolism Effect in Skan-Dinavia, Modernist Lyricists in Sweden and Finland Scandinavian culture of World War II, postmodern literature and culture, discussion of literary history, postcolonial and post-national literature, translation literature, institutional system of literature, and so on.
