- Romanticism and realism in literature is a subject that examines the two main eras and stylistic trends of the 19th century in the history of Ukrainian literature. The lecture presents the general characteristics, temporal location and eras, poetics, typical genres and discourses of romanticism and realism in world literature and Ukrainian literature, points out the comparative relationships, influences, similarities and differences, and gives an introduction on the example of some outstanding creator/creation adds to the general and specific tasks and possibilities of analysis and interpretation.
- Course content
