- The “Community and the individual” serves as an introductory course into the social sciences for business economics training. Through lectures and related practicals it introduces the students into the theories of the relation between individual and the society with special emphasis on social practices in business life. Students get acquainted with the basic elements and procedures of social psychology, famous experiments, ethical implications, and all those mechanisms to which humans are necessarily exposed in social situations.

- The basics of social sciences The social Self The human in social environment: social stimulation and inhibition, conformity, obedience The methodology and ethical aspects of social sciences Person perception, forming impressions Attribution, biases Non-verbal behavior Attitudes, stereotypes Manipulation, persuasion techniques, cognitive dissonance, framing Learning and communication Learning methodology, memory, complex learning strategies Improving reading skills, mind map Time management, time bandits, physical space Effective communication in social situations
