- The aim of the International Finance Management course is to give a deeper understanding of the world of financial markets and financial instruments. The subject is made up of three blocks: Investment theory block, within the framework of which we review classic asset pricing models, pricing anomalies and gain insight into the theory of behavioral finance. Within the framework of the second block, we discuss the peculiarities of the financial intermediary system, with special focus to banking, the decision-making mechanisms of banks, and the risks of these intermediary institutions. In the third block, we present the financial instruments that appear in financial intermediation, as well as the special world of trading with them.
