- This course offers an academic overview of international and European intellectual property law. It introduces the core concepts and principles of IP law and examines the main international and EU legal sources governing patents, trademarks, copyright, designs, and related rights, with particular attention to their interaction and practical application.

- Assessment method
- Regular attendance is required; students may miss up to two classes per semester. Assessment will consist of one of the following, subject to the lecturer’s approval: a written examination, a 3,000-word written paper, or an oral presentation delivered in class on a topic chosen by the student.

- Students are expected to prepare in advance by reviewing the assigned materials and actively participating in class discussions. All course materials for each session will be available on the course’s Moodle site.
