- Course schedule The course spells out in detail the vast legal material on healthcare services under EU law in the following thematic order (topics are subject to change): Topic Introduction – definition of healthcare Health-related issues in the TFEU / TEU / EU Charter of Fundamental Rights COVID and healthcare services 1. COVID and healthcare services 2. Basics of Regulation 883/2004/EC, applicable law, external aspects of social security coordination Regulation 883/2004/EC – unplanned medical treatment abroad Regulation 883/2004/EC – planned medical treatment abroad Basics of Directive 2011/24/EU – legal basis, negotiations, definitions Directive 2011/24/EU – Reimbursement issues Directive 2011/24/EU – Other areas covered Free movement of healthcare workers 1. Free movement of healthcare workers 2. Summary and grading
- Számonkérés és értékelés
- Assessment Lecture participation is obligatory in accordance with the relevant statutes (unexpected events might result in online teaching but in that case obligatory participation is required in TEAMS). There is no final written exam but different tasks will be performed continuously throughout the semester (multiple choice test, composition of thematic tables, short written materials, case-solving). Appr. 100 points can be reached all together, students get grades on the basis of the number of points.
