- The semester aims to present art history methods and the history of the discipline based on the origins of modernism. Topics covered include iconography, art appreciation, modernity, formalism, institutional critique, and methodologies inspired by contemporary art. The seminar also includes fieldwork, as we will visit key examples of the Hungarian art institution system, such as the Museum of Fine Arts – Hungarian National Gallery, the Ludwig Museum Budapest, the Museum of Ethnography, other specialized museum collections, and
