- Oktatás célja
- Knowledge: The course introduces students to the phenomenon of cultural transfer and its role in 20th century Central European social, political and cultural history through case studies. The course focuses on the issue of popular culture and the connections between modernization and Westernization. In addition to all of this, students also get to know the methods of comparative historiography. Abilities: With a historical perspective, students are able to interpret the social phenomena of today's Central European countries, as well as the characteristics of today's society and social policy. In order to achieve the course, the students will be able to carry out analytical tasks related to the region and map their research results in Hungarian and foreign languages. Attitude: The course particularly deepens the students' interest in the region and their commitment to its cultural issues. The course encourages independent problem-solving thinking and a critical approach. Autonomy, responsibility: Having knowledge of cultural history, they are responsible and tolerant to cooperate with the cultural communities of the Central European region and members of other societies.
