- Oktatás célja
- A kurzus során elemezzük az úgynevezett „ikonikus fordulathoz” vezető elméleti felismeréseket, a médiaelmélet és a globális médiakutatások inflációját, valamint a kulturális átalakulások hatását a képek, médiumok és algoritmusok társadalmi és technológiai kontextusára. A példák között szerepelnek vizuális művészeti alkotások, popkultúra és irodalom. Fontos hangsúlyozni, hogy a kurzus elméleti jellegű, és a kijelölt szövegek ismerete szükséges a példák relevanciájának megértéséhez, valamint kötelező a félév teljesítéséhez. Eng: During the course, we will analyze the theoretical insights leading to the so-called "iconic turn", the inflation of media theory and global media studies, and the impact of the cultural shifts on the social and technological context of images, mediums, and algorithms. The examples will include works of visual art, pop culture, and literature. It is important to stress that the course is theoretical and that knowledge of the assigned texts is necessary to understand the relevance of the examples and is mandatory in passing the semester.
