- Learning outcomes
- Introducing students into scientific research. Knowledge: Learning methods of scientific research (finding and processing available sources, problem solving, documenting and presenting the results). Ability: Searching in the literature, collecting background material, understanding and procesing the available sources, individual problem solving. Attitude: Developing the inner need for learning mathematics, for deeper understanding and for extending the scope of already existing knowledge. Autonomy and Responsibility: Working individually, developing the feeling for responsibility in doing scientific research.

- Learning about selected chapters in matehmatics, possibly working on unsolved problems.
- Assessment method
- Written report, oral presentation (term mark, grades 1-5).
- Bibliography
- The literature of the chosen topic: books, articles, other scientific studies.
