- Competencies a) Knowledge - Knowing and applying common chemicals, equipments and procedures of inorganic and colloid chemistry laboratory. b) Ability - Being capable of applying scientific principles. Conducting advanced laboratory measurements. c) Attitude - Inclining towards understanding nature based on his/her chemistry knowledge. d) Autonomy and responsibility - Acting on an independent basis in chemistry laboratory. Documentation of laboratory work and preparation of informative lab reports.
- Course content
- Application of knowledge of inorganic, solid phase, and nanochemistry in the laboratory practice. Synthesis of material systems with interesting properties in the point of view of materials science. Learning advanced laboratory techniques, procedures, and assembling, handling more complex equipments. Developing correct practice of data recording, presentation and analysis.
- Assessment method
- Required minimal fulfillment of laboratory experiments (lab report accepted) is 80%. Grading occurs on a five level scale at the end of the semester.
