- The goal of this course is to give a brief introduction into the geology and geomorphological features of the main volcanic areas of Hungary via field studies.
- Course content
- Participating students will be introduced into the following topics related to the volcanic areas of Hungary: - geology of main volcanic areas of Hungary with special regard on various volcanic processes - long-term geomorphological evolution of various volcanic landscapes Along these two major topics participating students will gain knowledge on regional geology and geography as well as volcanic and erosional processes in general.
