- With the primary purpose of widening the participants’ Shakespeare-horizon, based on close readings, the special seminar offers complex analyses of plays rarely appearing in the menus of regular literature courses
- Course content
- The Comedy of Errors, Titus Andronicus, Richard II, The Merchant of Venice, The Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, Troilus and Cressida, All’s Well that Ends Well, Antony and Cleopatra, The Winter’s Tale, Timon of Athens.
- Assessment method
- Regular attendance and preparation; close readings of the chosen texts; conscious, conscientious and active participation in seminar work; individual and shared tasks in terms of presentations; a creative, analytical home essay near the end of the term.
