- Oktatás célja
- This series of talks about culture and cultures aims to familiarise the audience with a background and tools for interpreting English language texts and interactions in their cultural context. Different lecturers will be addressing issues such as the meanings of ‘culture’, how to explore national cultures, the process of cultural learning, the relationship between language and culture and various aspects of cross-cultural communication and intercultural competence. All lectures will present important theoretical background to these issues and demonstrate practical uses of the themes in relation to English speaking cultures.
