Learning outcomes
The purpose of the course is to get acquainted with the language of on-line genres, e.g. e-mails, blogs, wikis, chats, forums and social networks.
Course content
Through a series of short assignments, the students will learn to collect data, analyze and report on on-line communication and discourse. The course addresses AI-related knowledge and skills relevant to the course content.
Assessment method
Attend classes and participate actively in the on-line sessions; prepare for all classes; complete all assignments (blogging, one academic research report and project work); evaluate other students' work and give meaningful feedback; keep a folder for the assignments and handouts; keep deadlines; participate in the virtual classroom.
