- The aim of this course is to provide students with an introduction to the basics of fact-based journalism and to improve students’ critical thinking skills.
- Course content
- We will read, analyze and compare news items from as far as content and structure are concerned. Students are expected to give presentations in connection with the development of fact-based journalism, write summaries of news items on a weekly basis, and read the set readings. Discussion and debate will also form a significant part of the course. Students have to take vocabulary quizzes every second week on 50 words.
