- During this MA seminar series students are introduced to the seminal works of twentieth-century Irish playwrights, north and south of the border. Students are also introduced to a variety of issues shaping contemporary critical discourse in Irish Studies.
- Tantárgy tartalma
- We are reading works written by the most important playwrights of the twentieth century, including W. B. Yeats, Sean O’Casey, Frank McGuinness and Stewart Parker. The course unveils these playwrights’ response to the many dramatic moments of Ireland’s twentieth-century history.
- Számonkérés és értékelés
- Final mark is based on the student’s short presentation during the term, on her/his end-of-term presentation and on her/his seminar work during the semester.
