- This course aims to: · establish the value of a gender-centred approach to culture · enhance student’s interests and skills in analysing films concerned with gender issues · imrove student’s understanding of social, cultural and historical events · highlight the role of women in cinema production in Australia and New Zealand · learn about the context of social problems depicted in the films
