- 1) The purpose of the subject; The course has three aims: § to develop the participants’ skills of intercultural communication § to develop the participants’ English language proficiency in order for them to become better communicators § to help the participants identify and plan the analysis of researchable issues related to intercultural communication
- Tantárgy tartalma
- We will be doing listening, viewing and speaking practice in the area of intercultural communication as well as reading research articles and essays. The students will also have to produce an outline for a research proposal.

- 3) Requirements and assessment; The seminar requires the students’ active participation and involvement. All tasks have to be completed. These are: Two in-class presentations of intercultural issues One seminar paper: a researched analysis of an intercultural situation Two research plan outlines Assessment: On the basis of the above.
