- European capital cities like London and Budapest will serve as case studies to illustrate challenges posed by climate change. The aims of the course includes highlighting the UN 2017 SDGs and possible solutions faced by cities and municipal societies and cultures.
- Course content
- We shall try to address the visual-filmic representations of SDGs, how films, ads and billboards reflect sustainable issues, esp. in British and Hungarian municipal, social and cultural context.
- Assessment method
- Your seminar grade will be based on a creative task (from either creatively visualising SDGs/planning campaigns alone or in pairs to individual review writing) in 30%, in participating in problem-based classroom discussions (in 20%) and passing the end-of-term test (in 50%) with one retake option.
