- A survey course in a series of twelve classes covering the main periods and painters of British painting. The twelve subjects are the following: (Tudor and Elisabethan painting, Holbein and Van Dyck; Hogarth; Reynolds; Gainsborough; Constable; Blake; Turner; Victorian Classical Revival; Victorian anecdotal realism; The Pre-Raphaelites; Whistler and Beardsley; 20th century tendencies)
